An Overthinking Song Challenge: February 13th

Happy Friday 13th, people (sending you spooky vibes)! Today I have to pick an instrumental that I like…I’m sure I had one in mind when I came up with this prompt but right now I can’t think of a specific one! As a rule, The Piano Guys, 2Cellos and The Vitamin String Quartet are all brilliant! I’ve also heard of Lindsey Stirling, but I haven’t heard many of her violin covers. There’s a brilliant violin, piano and guitar cover of Alesso  vs. One Republic ‘If I Lose Myself’ by Daniel Jang, and Vitamin String Quartet’s cover of AWOLNATION’s ‘Sail’ is beautiful.

In terms of original music, there are some jazz charts I love – Birdland by Weather Report, Blues For Miles by Freddie Hubbard, Mas Que Nada (technically has lyrics, but I’ve played a non-lyrical version) and multiple others!
