Poetry 201•A Journey

Today’s prompt was to write a limerick about a journey, and it certainly was a poetical journey for me! I will confess that I didn’t spend long on it, but I don’t think it’s too bad for quite possibly my first limerick since primary school!
Here goes:

There was a young woman named Amy,
She met a man one day when it was rainy
He took her on a trip in his blue police box
It went so fast it blew off her socks
He said he was called the Doctor, and he was a little zany

Well…loosely related to journeys? No idea if it fits the syllable count as well, but hey-ho…

An Overthinking Teenager
