100 Days of Happiness {day 20} – Paint, Puff Pastry And A Campfire

Yesterday morning, to finish off my friend’s birthday party, we had a campfire. Yes, it was eleven A.M. No,don’t judge. We’d already had some marshmallows with breakfast. As well as the standard burnt-not-roasted marshmallows, we had banana and pineapple, coated them in brown sugar and heated it until it caramelised. Yum. We also managed to eat an entire platter of fruit between seven of us, in about five minutes, ten tops. Sorry, but I like melon!

Later, I helped my dad with painting-we’re renting out part of our house, and so are redecorating. I gave three walls a second coat or Magnolia, only a little of which ended up on my face!

One of the best parts of the day, however, was tea. We had ‘sweet potato and pea puffs’, or as they’re known to us, samosa-y yummy thingies. With the left over puff pastry, my mum made jam tarts, which just finished the day off perfectly 🙂 I also watched Saturday night’s Doctor Who – have you watched it, and what did you think of it?
